Salt solution method is suitable for Parthenium management in wasteland in small scale. If there is heavy infestation of Parthenium in Ambrette crop then only there is need for its management. In general this crop is least affected by this weed as compared to other crops. Adopt soil solarization method to destroy seed bank of this weed in soil during summer. रतनजोत उखाडकर नष्ट करने का फरमान, आओ! मेरठ प्रशासन का करे सम्मान

पिछले दिनो मेरठ से खबर आयी कि स्थानीय प्रशासन ने आम निवासियो से अनुरोध किया है कि वे अपने आस-पास उग रहे रतनजोत को उखाड फेके। जहाँ एक ओर पूरे देश मे डीजल के विकल्प के रुप मे इस पौधे को लगाया जा रहा है ऐसे मे इस तरह का फरमान सामने आये तो इससे सबका चौकना तय था। समाचार के अनुसार मेरठ के आस-पास बच्चो द्वारा रतनजोत के बीज को खाकर बीमार होने के पचास से अधिक मामले सामने आये तो नाराज पालको ने प्रदर्शन किया। इसी को देखते हुये प्रशासन ने रतनजोत के नुकसान को भाँपते हुये इसे तुरंत ही उखाडने का निर्देश दे दिया। रतनजोत (जैट्रोफा) के दुष्प्रभावो को जानने वाले ऐसे फरमानो की उम्मीद बहुत वर्षो से कर रहे थे। आज पूरे देश मे आम लोगो को इस जहरीले पौधे के विषय मे पूरी जानकारी दिये बिना ही व्यापक पैमाने पर इसे लगाया जा रहा है। परिणामस्वरुप इसके हानिकारक प्रभाव सामने आने लगे। आज यह कोई नही बता पा रहा है कि रतनजोत से बायोडीजल कब बनेगा पर मनुष्यो से लेकर वन्य प्राणियो तक सभी के लिये यह विदेशी पौधा अभिशाप बनता जा रहा है। आज सारा देश क्रिकेट, फिल्मो और राजनीति पर चर्चा कर रहा है। ऐसे मे बहुत कम लोग जानते
