चलिये अब मेथी उगाये डायबीटीज के लिये - पंकज अवधिया दुनिया के अन्य देशो की तरह भारत मे भी मेथी का प्रयोग मधुमेह (डायबीटीज) सहित कई प्रकार के रोगो मे होता है। इसकी पत्तियो से तैयार साग बडी चाव से खायी जाती है जबकि बीजो का प्रयोग मसालो के अलावा दवा के रूप मे भी होता है। देश के बहुत से भागो मे इसकी खेती की जाती है। कृषि विज्ञान का छात्र होने के नाते मुझे भी इसकी खेती के विषय मे पढाया गया। पाठ्य पुस्तको मे एक ही प्रकार की खेती के विषय मे मैने पढा। यह मेथी की रासायनिक खेती थी। बाद मे जैविक खेती कर रहे किसानो से मैने इसकी विषरहित खेती के गुर सीखे पर जब मैने वनस्पतियो से सम्बन्धित पारम्परिक चिकित्सकीय ज्ञान का दस्तावेजीकरण का कार्य आरम्भ किया और पारम्परिक चिकित्सको के सम्पर्क मे आया तो आपको यह जानकर आश्चर्य होगा कि मुझे इसकी खेती के 200 से अधिक तरीको का पता लगा। आम तौर पर मेथी की खेती मे अधिक उत्पादन को देखा जाता है। और जब भी मेथी के प्रयोग की सलाह आधुनिक चिकित्सक लोगो को देते है तो वे बाजार जाकर मेथी खरीद लाते है और विधि अनुसार प्रयोग आरम्भ कर देते है। पर...
